Dr. Philip R. Gaudet, DVM
Dr. Gaudet received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1973. 
After working on several beef and dairy farms, Dr. Gaudet attended Texas A&M University 1973 and 1974. 
He graduated from the National Veterinary School of France in Toulouse, France in 1980.   
He is a co-owner of Capeway Veterinary Hospital, has lived in this area since 1980, is happily married and has four children.
His interests range from reading novels and history to hiking, camping and exotic travel.
 

Dr. Ted Sherman, DVM
Dr. Sherman, a co-owner of Capeway Veterinary Hospital is a veteran of the US Navy, and a graduate of Louisiana State University.  He was part of the CVH emergency relief effort for rescuing pets and animals affected by Hurricane Katrina.  Dr. Sherman spent 9 days in Baton Rouge, LA providing medical and husbandry services to animal victims displaced by the storm.  In his spare time he enjoys snorkeling, scuba diving, boating and digital photography


 

 

Dr. Nandini Jayaram, DVM
Dr. Jayaram has been with CVH since 1997. 
She graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College at Prince Edward Island, Canada. 
She has two cats.  Rudy who was adopted from CVH and Winston. 
She also has three dogs all adopted from CVH.  
Casey her pitbull mix, Riley her golden retriever, and Wilson her recently adopted deaf american bulldog. 
She enjoys taking her dogs swimming, reading, working out, and relaxing in her pool

 
 

Dr. Mark Stamoulis, DVM, DACVIM (CARD)
Dr Stamoulis is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology.
 
 Dr. Tracy Carreiro
We welcome back Dr. Tracy Carreiro, who will be providing behavior services, including diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plans for small animal behavior cases. Dr. Carreiro will also provide less intensive behavior education appointments to help clients emphasize positive behaviors and phase out their pet's unwanted habits.   A graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Tracy Carreiro has been a practicing veterinarian for nearly 20 years.  As her interest in animal behavior has grown, Tracy has broadened her knowledge through many continuing education courses focusing on behavior.  These include Addressing Canine Behavior Challenges through Tufts University, Behavioral Pharmacology at the University of Georgia Veterinary School, and Applied Clinical Behavior course through the North American Veterinary Post Graduate Institute.   She has also studied behavior in humans, completing her certification as a Professional Life Coach.   She combines her skills with both people and animals to help clients understand and effectively manage their pet's behavior problems.  If you would like to schedule a consultation, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by phone or email.
