Grooming by Vanessa
Vanessa, our groomer, runs our grooming department here at Capeway Veterinary Hospital. Vanessa joined us in January 2007, took a short break and then returned in August 2008. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2006 and added grooming skills to her resume in 2008. She is experienced with all types of dogs and can provide most standard breed cuts or customize the cut based on your needs. Cat grooming can also be provided. Please feel free to contact Vanessa at 508-992-0202 with any additional questions or concerns.
Eligibility Requirements
All pets must be current on vaccinations and free of external/intestinal parasites in order to be groomed. If your pet is not vaccinated at the Capeway Veterinary Hospital, you must bring in proof of previous vaccinations within the past 12 months. We require dogs to be current on rabies, dhpp, and kennel cough vaccinations. Cats must be current on their rabies and drc vaccines. This policy will be strictly enforced, both for your pet’s health and in the best interest of our other patients.
How often should my pet be groomed?
For short-haired dogs, we suggest a minimum of 4 baths each year. Dogs and cats with long-hair or high-maintenance coats need attention every 4-6 weeks, particularly if they do not receive maintenance combing or brushing at home.
*Please note that all prices vary depending on breed, size, coat condition, and special requests. We reserve the right to charge handling fees for excessively difficult/aggressive pets requiring additional staff and/or time in order that we may provide proper care. To make an appointment or inquire more about our grooming services please call 508-992-0202. |
